PRATIX^® Kontakt

PRATIX® Kontakt is a mineral filled, polymer dispersion based primer that increases the bond strength of cement and gypsum based plasters applied to smooth concrete surfaces.

Areas of Use
•    Indoors and outdoors, on walls and ceilings prior to cement or gypsum based plastering
•    For preparing smooth, low-absorbency concrete surfaces before plastering
•    For increasing adhesion before bonding new tiles onto existing tile or ceramic surfaces
Note: Must not be used on surfaces exposed to permanent water or moisture.

Advantages
•    Gypsum based plasters gradually detach from cement surfaces due to chemical reaction; this product is a primer designed to provide strong adhesion and prevent such detachment
•    Ready to use and easy to apply
•    Can also be applied to wooden and metal surfaces
•    Prevents rapid absorption of the water in the applied plaster by the substrate, preventing premature drying and crack formation while extending the working time
•    Solvent-free, therefore suitable for comfortable use in interior spaces
