IZOMAX®Aqualastic
IZOMAX® Aqualastic is a single-component, ready-to-use, flexible waterproofing material based on elastomeric acrylic resin.
Complies with class DMO2 according to EN 14891.
DM: Dispersion-based waterproofing material
O2: Crack-bridging ability (-20°C)
Areas of Application
• Indoor and outdoor areas of all structures
• Horizontal and vertical surfaces
• On concrete, cement-based screeds, plaster, and cement-based boards
• Beneath ceramic tiling in wet areas such as balconies, bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens
• As a waterproofing layer beneath paint and coatings on external surfaces
• On metal surfaces, applied together with COATIX® Steelcoat Primer U1
Advantages
• Ready to use; easily applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer
• Can be painted with acrylic paint; ceramic or tile can be applied directly without the need for roughening
• Environmentally friendly, solvent-free
• Forms a seamless, monolithic waterproofing layer
• Resistant to light foot traffic
• Resistant to ponding water on the surface
• Elastic structure provides resistance to temperature fluctuations
• Maintains high crack-bridging capacity even at very low temperatures
• High elongation at break provides safe performance on surfaces subject to movement
