IZOMAX® F-tec

IZOMAX® F-tec is a three-layer under-tile waterproofing membrane for ceramic and natural stone coverings. Both faces consist of polypropylene non-woven, with a core of modified low density polyethylene (LDPE) membrane. It protects floors and walls against substrate cracks and moisture migration.

Fields of Application
•    Interior wet rooms with moderate exposure to non-pressurised water (classes W1-I and W2-I according to DIN 18534) — bathrooms, showers, toilets
•    Beneath ceramic and natural stone coverings on floors and walls
•    On concrete and screed surfaces requiring crack bridging
•    In kitchens and laundry rooms
•    In underfloor heating systems
•    On plasterboard, aerated concrete and wood-based board substrates
•    On the interior surfaces of covered balconies and terraces

Advantages
•    At only 0.50 mm thick, it does not raise the level of the covering
•    Bridges cracks; does not transfer substrate movement to the covering
•    Tiling can start 24 hours after application
•    Balances water vapour transmission
•    Forms a complete system with inside corner, outside corner and collar components
